Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms apply when you use RIDERNIP. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who you are dealing with
RIDERNIP is operated by MERCURY ROAD EQUIPMENT PTY LTD. ABN 36 614 422 187, ACN 614 422 187. It is an Australian Private Company, active from 6 September 2016, GST registered from 1 July 2022, with its main business location listed as NSW 2140, Australia.
The public service is at https://ridernip.dfortix.ai. Contact: vlad@b-seen.net.
2. What RIDERNIP is
RIDERNIP is an information and price-comparison service for motorcycle gear. It does not sell products, hold stock, operate a cart, process payments or accept orders. It is not a party to a transaction between you and a retailer. A purchase is made from the retailer under that retailer’s prices, availability, delivery terms, returns policy and other conditions.
3. How price information is obtained
Price observations are obtained automatically from retailer product information on recurring schedules. Depending on the source, collection uses publicly accessible product pages or an authorised product feed. Schedules vary by store.
Where a store is configured for bot-compliant crawling, the crawler checks that store’s robots.txt, follows applicable allow and disallow rules, and observes a stated crawl delay. Ordinary direct requests in that mode use an identifying user agent. Browser-assisted requests use the browser’s user agent. Ifrobots.txt cannot be reached, the current crawler records that condition and may proceed without its rules.
Listings are matched to products only by manufacturer part number or barcode. We do not use a similar name alone to claim that two listings are the same product. Read more about the method on How we compare.
4. Prices are dated observations
Every displayed price is a historical observation carrying the date it was recorded. It is not a live quote, an offer by RIDERNIP or a retailer, or a price capable of acceptance through RIDERNIP. A price, stock status, promotion, delivery charge or product detail may have changed since the recorded date. Check the retailer’s page before making a decision.
5. Coverage is partial
RIDERNIP compares only a subset of Australian retailers and a subset of motorcycle products. Not every store, product, variant, promotion or price is included. The results are not a survey of the whole market and must not be read as one. A lower price may be available elsewhere.
6. How results are ordered
Default search results are ranked algorithmically for relevance, with smaller boosts for stock availability and the number of stores represented. Available controls can instead sort by observed price or narrow the results with filters.
On a product comparison, in-stock observations no more than 30 days old come first, ordered by price. Older in-stock observations follow, then out-of-stock observations; each group is ordered by price. Store name breaks an exact tie. No retailer pays for placement or ranking, and no store has a privileged position in these rules.
7. Retailers, brands and trade marks
RIDERNIP does not act as a retailer’s or brand owner’s agent. The appearance of a retailer, brand, product name, image or logo does not by itself mean that party endorses RIDERNIP. Third-party names, trade marks, logos and product images belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify products, stores and source pages.
8. Australian Consumer Law and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or other protection under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Those non-excludable rights continue to apply in full.
Subject to that paragraph, and only to the extent permitted by law, RIDERNIP is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that every result is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for checking the retailer’s current price, stock, product specifications and transaction terms before relying on a comparison.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for loss caused by relying on stale or incorrect third-party information, a retailer’s act or omission, or the availability of a third-party site. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability under an applicable non-excludable consumer guarantee.
9. Third-party links and transactions
Links take you to retailers’ own sites. Those sites are outside RIDERNIP’s control and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A retailer is responsible for its product information, transaction, payment, delivery, returns, warranties and customer service.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, bulk-download, mirror or systematically extract RIDERNIP data;
- use bots or automated tools to query the service without written permission;
- circumvent or attempt to defeat rate limits or security controls;
- interfere with the service or impose an unreasonable load on it; or
- use RIDERNIP unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights.
Ordinary use through a browser and ordinary indexing by search engines that follow the site’s published crawler rules are allowed.
11. Intellectual property
The operator owns or licenses RIDERNIP’s original software, design, text, compilation and branding. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may view and use the service for personal, non-commercial comparison. Section 7 applies to third-party names, trade marks and imagery.
12. AI and automation disclosure
Decorative imagery on RIDERNIP is AI-generated. Product imagery is not AI-generated; it comes from catalogue and store listing sources. Product matching, search ranking, price eligibility checks and comparison ordering are automated. Automated matching uses manufacturer part number or barcode, not visual similarity.
13. Corrections and removal requests
A retailer can report an incorrect listing or request removal by emailing vlad@b-seen.net. Include the store name, source-page link, affected RIDERNIP page and what should change. We will review a reasonably detailed request and correct or remove a verified issue within a reasonable time.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service or law changes. Updated terms will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated terms, but a change does not remove rights that have already accrued or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Severability and governing law
If a provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down to the extent necessary or severed if it cannot be read down. The remaining provisions continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under a law that applies despite this clause.
